1. Introduction

Welcome to the Umlambo Foundation Golf Day website (https://golfday.umlambo.org) — referred to herein as “we,” “us,” or “our.” These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and participation in the Umlambo Charity Golf Day event (“Event”) organized by the Umlambo Foundation and hosted by Platistone.

By accessing or using this website, registering for the Event, purchasing sponsorships, or making donations, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site or participating in the Event.

 

2. Event Details

The Golf Day is scheduled for Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at Country Club Johannesburg (CCJ) in Woodmead, Johannesburg.

 

3. Registration & Sponsorship Packages

  • Registration: Participants may register their team (four-ball) through the website. All registrations must be submitted with accurate and complete information.

  • Sponsorship Packages: Sponsorship options include Headline (R300,000 – taken by Platistone), Platinum (R250,000), Gold (R150,000), Silver (R100,000), Hole (R50,000), and 19th Hole (R100,000). Availability varies by package.

  • Payment: All registration fees, donations, and sponsorship payments must be made by the methods specified on the website and within announced deadlines.

 

4. Donations

Donations to the Umlambo Foundation via this site are voluntary and non-refundable, unless otherwise stated. Contributions will support early childhood literacy initiatives in the Vhembe District. Our goal is to raise R1 million through this event.

 

5. Changes & Cancellation

  • We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, health restrictions, venue changes).

  • In the event of cancellation, refunds (if any) will be handled per our refund policy, and participants will be notified promptly.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright owned by the Umlambo Foundation or its partners. Your use of the content is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes. No rights are granted without express written permission.

 

7. Liability

Participants and users use the site and attend the Event at their own risk. Umlambo Foundation, Platistone, and associated partners are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Event or use of the website, except where law prohibits exclusion.

 

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your information will be handled per our Privacy Policy, accessible via the “Privacy Policy” link on the site. Your data may be used for Event communications and future updates, and processed in compliance with South African privacy legislation.

 

9. Code of Conduct

All participants, sponsors, volunteers, and guests must behave respectfully. We reserve the right to remove anyone whose conduct is deemed harmful or disruptive, without refund.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes must be brought before courts in Johannesburg.
